The 2016-17 season ended the way so many before it have for the Memphis Grizzlies, as they battled valiantly until the final whistle, but ultimately were eliminated from the playoffs. This time around, the Grizzlies faced a familiar foe in the San Antonio Spurs, and were ousted in Game 6 on Thursday night.

While most expected the Spurs to take the series, it was still a devastating loss, especially in the Memphis locker room. And particularly so after the way they had fought throughout the series, giving the Spurs everything they could handle.

Working so hard, yet falling short once again is a tough thing to deal with, and in trying to come to terms with the end of the season, some players couldn't fall asleep after the loss. That included Vince Carter and Mike Conley, and as the two tossed and turned in the night, they found an interesting way to take their minds off what happened.

Yep, you guessed it, Carter and Conley were playing Words with Friends at 4 o'clock in the morning.

Ah a late night video game session when you can't sleep. NBA players, they're just like us.

(Well, expect for the part where they couldn't sleep because they had just lost their shot at playing for an NBA championship. But besides that, yeah, basically the same.)
