Thunder Run‘s Season 5 is coming to an end, and we have some exciting changes for Season 6!

On February 9th, 2017, immediately after the Season 5 Finale clan tournament, PvP leaderboards will reset and Season 6 will begin.

The new season will come with the closure of 4 old maps: Sectors 201, 202, 207, and 213, and the opening of two new anti-alt maps: Sectors 604 and 605. This will ensure a healthy population in all maps for the coming season.

In addition, starting in Season 6, PvP points will only be available in anti-alt regions (Maps 600-605) and Non-Map regions. In Maps 203-228, which do not have anti-alt policies, players can still play and fight, but PvP points will not be given for battles there. Entering Maps 203-228 will cause a player to lose all accumulated PvP points. This change will reduce the advantage of alt accounts on PvP results.

Stay tuned for more information in the coming days, and don’t forget to check out the Elite Rifleman Battle Replay Contest going on right now!
