Community Guild Tournament

Tournament Procedure

Each of the invited Guilds will be represented by the team of heroes that they chose for the Tournament. The competition shall take the form of a Single Elimination tournament with fixed rules for pairings.

Guilds’ Teams will be paired with one another by server number – from a lower number to higher (server 1 vs. server 2, server 3 vs. server 4, etc.). Each winner will play another in the next round, until the final match-up. There will be 4 rounds till the winner is determined.

Battles will be fought in automatic mode on the test server, and all the heroes and pets will be maxed out. If there is no winner after time runs out, the defending team will be the winner. Each team will have a chance to shine in a defensive position and in an attacking position.

Procedure for the 1st round: The first fight will be in a defensive position and the second one in an attacking position. If as a result of these two battles, one Guild leads 2:0, then it wins this round. If the score is 1:1 after two battles, then the procedure will be the same as for quarterfinals, semifinals, and final.

Procedure for quarterfinals, semifinals, and final: Each pair of teams will have up to 6 battles: 3 battles in a defensive position and 3 battles in an attacking position. The winner is the one who wins more battles out of all 6 battles. If the score is the same after 6 battles (3:3), then the winner is determined by the time of the battles: whoever won the fastest wins.

Participants

The Community Guild Tournament's participants are Guilds from the first 16 servers on Facebook that are ranked first in the Gold league on Guild War Leaderboard at the time we've sent the invitations to the Guild Masters via the in-game mail.

When someone from the first 16 servers had ignored the invitation or refused to participate, we contacted Guilds that are ranked first in the Gold league from higher servers till we get 16 participating Guilds.

All the participants have chosen a team of five heroes, one pet for the whole team and one patron pet. Only one hero from your team is allowed to have a patron pet. The patron pet and the pet for a team could be different.

Prizes

All the members of the winning Guild will receive a unique avatar and a victorious frame.

Members of all the other Guilds that participated in the Tournament will receive a special avatar. Prizes will be sent within a week after the end of the Tournament.

NOTE: Prizes will be sent to those players who were in the Guild at the time we’ve sent an invitation to their Guild Master.
