Can Kindle Fire Download A Chrome Browser And Extension?

I have to play on a Kindle Fire.. I'm thinking that its incompatible with Chrome and its extensions because it's Google, and Google and Amazon compete with each other, so it won't be pretty. That is, unless I side load, and that is not an option right now...Am I right? Or can I bypass all these obstacles directly somehow?
