Ghost Tales Village Mystery

I'm trying to figure out this village mystery, I see the book, a shellfish, spiderwebs, a cabin, and other things, but when I click on the book, and the man there tells me about the person who's book it is, then I click play, and it takes me back to the village, and I click on each thing that's there, but nother happens. What do I do?

There are 4 stories (quests) you have to complete. Detrimental Custody, Youth Waves, Far Horizons and Flower & Thread
