How to become “premium” status?

I am pretty confused about the details of this game and unfortunately, the FAQ/support offered on the site doesn't help very much! Premium status?? How do I reach this? Also, I see these different sections under the "collections" tab...daubers, frames, and bingo balls...I've been playing for a few months now and have yet to get any? Then the designer points part...I play quite often and haven't even cleared 3,000 points...level 2 is 20,000 points?!?!?! Seems crazy!!! Anyone willing to take a little extra time to explain the game a little better to me and maybe give me some much needed pointers would be greatly appreciated
