Dice with Buddies Gift Grab

Anyone know how to beat the big red X on gift grab... seems no matter what box I choose it is red x-ed on the fourth try every time.. frustrating to say the least . Would appreciate any help I can get .. thanks, Joan

Remember where the last x was and just go for that box every time. So far it got me to 15
