Lower Energy Spent

I'm digging through the first Christmas Challenge 2019 and got stuck so (I know, it's cheating) looked up a YouTube walkthrough. I noticed to my surprise that all the tiles had a much lower energy cost to remove them than in "my" game. Some were 30 in stead of my 210 or higher etc. I haven't seen a potion or something else in the game that would reduce the energy needed.

I think it would be very hard to manipulate these videos to show a different energy cost on tiles, so what causes these lower numbers?
